Asus Eee PC 1101 HA is the first Netbook from Asus which has got a 11.6″ display, remember those 4G, 
8G surfs, 900HA etc which were all in the 7″-9″ range and the 1000HE with 10.1″ display. If you are looking at a Netbook which has a bit more screen size, 1101HA is the one!
Asus 1101HA is part of Asus’ Seashell family of very thin Netbooks unlike Asus Eee PC 1000HE which is slightly bulky due to the six cell battery pack, but adding more life by giving up to 9.5 hours of battery backup. If you had thought that 9.5 hours is the maximum in Netbooks, 1101HA’s six cell 63Wh Li-ion Battery can give you a battery backup up to a whopping 11 hours of computing!!

Operating System
1011HA Seashell comes with Genuine Windows XP Home. In addition to the OS, it comes with pre-installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 on a 60 day trial which may vary from country to country. 1011HA Seashell also has Linux OS option unlike Asus 1000HE which has only Windows XP as the OS option. The prices are yet to be clear for 1101 HA but choosing Linux, you may be able to save a few bucks over the Windows XP one.
Processor and Chipset
Asus 1101HA Seashell comes with Intel’s Atom Z520 processor with US15W chipset, while you know that Asus Eee PC 1000HE comes with Intel Atom N280 processor with N270 chipset. The Z520 with US15W chipset is said to have increase reduction in thermal dissipation, and significantly improved energy efficiency over the 270/280 ones..
Screen Display
As I mentioned earlier, Asus Eee PC 1101HA Seashell comes with 11.6″ LED Backlight WXGA Screen with screen resolutions up to 1366×768 pixels with Glare-type – Color-Shine where as in 1000HE its 1024×600 on a 10.1″ display. Increased resolution and screen size on 1101HA!
Storage
There isn’t much change here for Asus 1101 Seashell from what Asus Eee PC 1000HE has. Both has 160GB hard disks with additional 10GB Eee storage for a period of 18 months.
Memory
Asus Eee PC 1101HA comes with a RAM of 1GB of type DDR2 SO-DIMM similar to Asus 100HE
Wireless Connectivity
Asus Seashell 1101HA comes with WLAN 802.11b/g/n @2.4GHz along with Bluetooth2.1 + EDR(optional) which is similar to what Asus Eee PC 1000HE has.
Keyboard
Since the screen size of Asus Eee pc 1101HA is slightly higher than Asus 1000HE, the keyboard is more ergonomically designed to reduce strain on typing on this device. Asus Eee PC 1000HE itself has a good keyboard, hence no need to worry about the keyboard on Asus 1101HA seashell..

Asus Eee PC 1101HA Seashell also comes with a Hi-Definition Audio CODEC, built in stereo speakers and a digital array mic. 1101HA also boasts an SRS Premium SoundTM true-to-life 5.1 surround audio.

I would suggest everyone to go with Asus Eee PC 1101ha netbook because it is 11.6-inch mini laptop, according to manufacturer it has the latest mobile hardware so pleasant that gets you started with all possible applications. You enjoy up to 8.5 hours working on one battery charge. So you can use a single charge one whole day or a long journey ahead. With its wireless connectivity it is simply to stay in touch with friends and family, colleagues or classmates. Because Simplicity is still with a capital E central to the Asus Eee PC 1101HA.
